At the 18th BRICS Summit in New Delhi, leaders adopted the New Delhi Declaration and voiced backing for Ethiopia’s priorities, including WTO accession and an AU-endorsed ICAO Council seat. The bloc also supported Addis Ababa’s plan to host COP32 in 2027, and approved China to host the next summit.
