Nova Scotia to impose $500 EV levy, $250 for plug-in hybrids from Oct. 1

Starting October 1, Nova Scotia will charge electric vehicle owners a $500 renewal levy and plug-in hybrid owners $250, in addition to registration fees. The province says the funds will support road maintenance.
