Canada’s trade surplus with the United States rose to $11.2 billion in August from $6.1 billion in July, the biggest monthly change since 1997, according to Statistics Canada. Exports to the U.S. climbed 8.1% while imports fell 2.5%, with the shift occurring ahead of U.S. Section 338 levies.
